I find it incredibly meaningful to help women understand their emotional, psychological, and physical needs and to help them use their voices for self-advocacy. It is a privilege to help empower women in every aspect of their lives.

How I got here

It's the journey that matters...

For the past 20 years, I have been a mental health advocate, educator, and clinician. I began my career by advocating for the rights of women and children, devoting my energy and passion towards creating systemic change. After being deeply impacted by the trauma I was exposed to, I felt pulled to work directly with individuals. So, in 2006, I obtained a Master’s degree in Counseling and got right to work. I began working with women struggling eating disorders and went on to offer individual and family therapy for uninsured and medically underserved clients in a clinic setting. These experiences impacted me in profound ways, both personally and professionally, and I left them feeling even more committed to provide compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to women. I am now devoting my work to helping women heal and find wellness in the joyful lives waiting for them.

My work with trauma has taught me that healing is a deeply personal and ongoing process, requiring patience, resilience, and compassion both for oneself and others. But, it was through my own life’s journey that I learned that the healing process is ongoing, taking many shapes in many stages over time.

In my own growing and healing process, I have learned how critical self-compassion, patience, and courage can be. These are the healing tools I help my clients to find within themselves. It is always an honor to hold space for and witness their individual healing journeys.
